Welcome to Streekarchief Bommelerwaard in the Netherlands. The Streekarchief Bommelerwaard is the archives service of Zaltbommel and Maasdriel in the region Bommelerwaard in the province of Gelderland. We preserve archives of the local and regional government from the fourteenth century till 1999, church administrations and archives of river- and polderboards, as well as archives and collections of private origin concerning the municipalities:

5. Oude schoolfoto's

De collectie oude schoolfoto's (1876 - 1940) van het streekarchief omvat bijna 200 exemplaren. Een van de eerste fotografen die geregeld schoolfoto's maakte was de Zaltbommelse fotograaf B. de Jong. De oudste foto, uit 1876, van de school in Nieuwaal is van zijn hand.
